A room with a view...

Window cards have always fascinated me. By window card I mean cards featuring a window as the focal point. Every time I imagined a card with a window it would invariably show the facade...somehow showcasing the other side of the window never occurred to me until a saw a card on Pinterest (too bad I didn't save the pin :( ) much for creative thinking!
So here I am with my new take on a window card. I created the night sky with whites dots of different intensity on an handmade paper scrap. The window and cat  are Silhouette Cameo cuts, the die-cuts are from Memory Box and Simon Says Stamp.
You can find my earlier window cards here and here.

There's no place like home

Sharing another canvas I completed recently...I intended to gift it to a colleague for his house warming but DH felt it is too bright and I landed up keeping it for myself.
Painted the background with distress how they react to water. The house and quote are Silhouette cut. I tried modeling paste for the first time (for the clouds)....the 3D effect is awesome.
Thanks for visiting!

Fun with Washi Tape!

I transformed two boring metal photo frames into these....
with washi tape, 3D chipboard stickers and alphas......these took less than 2 hours to make.
I have covered the pink one with mod podge and left the green and blue one as is...I'm happy with both the results.
Giraffes are my daughter's favorite wild animals at the moment so she is very happy with this one :)
