Reverse Confetti October SFYTT

It's mid-October and time for some inspiration for the October Sketch For You to Try. Here's this month's sketch.

I'm using the sketch challenge to catch up on my Christmas cards. It's almost November and I haven't really started making them!!

I designed the plaid patterned paper used in the background. I tried a few other Christmasy colors and now I'm addicted. If any of you are interested I might put them for free download, just let me know in the comments.
