Apple of my eye - revisited

I made this card on request, it is a remake of an old card with some modifications.
The apple is made by cutting out 2 apple shapes on silk handmade paper, stitching them together at the edges with embroidery floss and stuffing  it with cotton. The sentiment is hand written.
This is the original card

Crochet Flowers!

I decided to crochet again after almost an year..spent one whole day trying out different kinds of flowers, most of them didn't turn out well.......crochet requires a lot of patience, which I unfortunately do not possess :(, anyway I did manage to make a few to my liking and have used 2 of those here along with some embossing, quilling and stamping.

This one is inspired by Card Patterns Sketch #60

Thank You!

This one is inspired by Card Patterns Sketch #59 and by Yvonne's guest blog challenge (which is to do some masking on your creation).
I first masked the scalloped oval with a smaller plain oval, stamped the sentiment and added some masking using a Tim Holtz mask............the flower is handmade using this tutorial (mine doesn't look half as good :().

Baby Boy

This is something I made as a gift for a couple who just had a baby boy. It can be hung up on the wall.

The tiny blue plaster of paris teddy and the wooden alphabet (for "babies") are from my trip to Jordan. All the other alphabets and the die-cut car is from Itsy Bitsy. I have added a quilled sail boat, a punched moon and a star. The frame is also handmade, a great tutorial for which is here.

Berry Sweet

Strawberry Shortcake all the way.....I have had some Strawberry Shortcake cutouts and small strawberry puffy stickers with me since ages but couldn't think of a way to use them.......this week's Card Patterns sketch seemed perfect for them.......I also added a crimped quilling strip (my favorite these days)

New Baby

I had made these a few weeks back. They are not exactly cards but box tops, which means that they will be stuck on top of boxes, I designed and made these for a company that makes designer gift boxes.

Blue and Mauve!

I love this card, I never thought blue and mauve could look so good together (there I go again blowing my own trumpet :P ).
My favorite theses days is chipboard, I try to use it on every project and this one is no different, I have used a chipboard flower and dragonfly on this one.

Have a great week!!

My Cluttered Desk

I am an extremely messy person, I can't seem to work or think unless I create a big mess!! So I guess this one applies to me perfectly....

I have used crimped food packaging foil as the base and added a piece of embossed foil on top. To create the effect a cluttered desk, i made a small notebook, cut toothpicks into 2 and colored them to make them look like crayons, and added some colored paper clips.

Here is a picture of it hanging on my cluttered desk :P.

Multiple Page Card

I had made this 14 page card/scrapbook more than a month back but was somehow too lazy to sort out all the pictures and upload them.
My initial plan was to make a maze book, but as I wanted to make something big (this one measures 10x10 inches), I realized that a maze book won't do (cause it'll need a really really big piece of card stock). So I just made a regular multiple page card.
This is a 50th Wedding Anniversary gift from children and grandchildren to their parents. I'm not in a mood to write too much so I'll just leave you with the pictures.....

The tags and blank spaces will be used for personalized messages. There are also place holders to put a few photographs.
Almost all supplies are from itsy bitsy and hobby ideas.
Have a great weekend!
