A card after ages

I made a card after almost 2 months.....I had almost forgotten, where my dies, stamps and ink pads were!! I have been MIA for so long I'm not sure if anyone still reads my blog........I am grateful to people who still visit my blog and take time to comment because I have not been regular in visiting yours......but I hope to change that now by setting aside some time every week to visit and share some love on my favorite crafters' blogs.

I made this card for my sister whose birthday is on the 4th of August. The candles, cake-top and flames are handcut.....added some rock candy distress stickles on the flame and the cake.

Up-cycled Shampoo bottle with Kusudama flowers

I up-cycled this bottle of Schwarzkopf Volume Boost Shampoo. Sliced off the top with a cutter, added some washi tape, sequined lace and golden ribbon bow. 

The kusudama flowers are from an old magazine.  I sprayed some walnut stain ink and golden shimmer mist on flowers once completed. The flowers though extremely easy to make involved a LOT of paper folding! 
Here's the vase brightening up my otherwise boring office desk...

The wooden buttons for the flower centers are from some old curtains.
