Christmas Graphics take 3

Happy Thursday folks! Here's another card I made with the Simon Says Stamp "Christmas Graphics" set.
I had done a set of cards using this set in non-traditional Christmas colors, you can check them out here.
Kept it pretty simple for this one, love how the colors stand out on red. Red really brings on the Christmas spirit, don't you think so?

Thanks so much.....

Happy Friday everyone! Today's card features some gold embossing on watercolor paper. The flowers are from the "Wild Hibiscus" Altenew Set and the sentiment is from the MFT set "Written in Watercolor". I masked out the stamped flowers and colored the background with aged mahogany distress ink , finally spritzed some water and Distress Spray Stain (tarnished brass). I colored the flowers with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and added some sequins to finish the card.
My card is inspired by this lovely card by one of my favorite crafter Hussena.....

Merry Christmas to a deer friend......

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you are having a great week. Sharing another Christmas card today, I've used the Toboggan Together set from Lawn Fawn for this one......just love those cute animals....I had so much fun coloring them. I used the Essentials By Ellen Bokeh Dots stamps for the snow, stamped and heat embossed in white and added blue color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Though not visible in the photo, the snow around the sentiment has beautiful silver shimmer.

Handmade Watercolor Diwali Card

I hope all my readers who celebrate Diwali had a great celebration last night. This was my first Diwali in Singapore and was extra special because my parents are here.
Sharing the only card I made for Diwali this year. I made the Diya with a stencil from Pie Lane and Gansai Tambi watercolors, wasn't satisfied with the results so went ahead and added some acrylic colors and highlighting with a white pen.

Share Handmade Kindness

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone's having a great Saturday. Today I'm sharing a mixed media canvas I made for a friend;
as a few of you might know I moved to Singapore recently. Right after we moved here, my husband had to travel for work for 5 weeks, leaving me and my LO in a new place with no friends or family around. I was lucky enough to meet my friend at this time, she never let me feel alone in a new place, invited us on play dates, introduced me to her friends and helped me find my way around the neighborhood.....
After reading about Jennifer Mcguire's "Share Handmade Kindness" challenge for friends and family,
I just knew I had to make something for her.
Even though I'm just a beginner when it comes to mixed media, I enjoyed adding all the layers and textures on this canvas.....and love how it turned out.....and the best part is the photo is not fixed and can be changed.

Christmas Graphics take 2....

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a set of 6 cards I made using the "Christmas Graphics" set from Simon Says Stamps.
This is the first time I used my Misti to mass produce cards (I consider making 6 cards as mass production).....and it does make assembly line stamping much easier and quicker.
I handcut the trees after stamping and mounted them on the card with some double sided foam tape with some thread under them, I also added some color splatters on a few and used a stencil on some.
Entering this one for Crafty JC's e-Pic Challenge

Christmas Graphics

Hello friends, hope you are having a lovely Sunday evening! Sharing the first Christmas card of the year. I'm in love with the "Christmas Graphics" set from Simon Says Stamp, I made this card + 6 more cards in different colors from the same set!
The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn set "Toboggan Together". The background has subtle silver triangles which look like Christmas trees to me....I created it using a Crafter's Workshop stencil and Lindy's Stamp Gang "Brushed Nickel" Star Burst spray.

Video:Start to finish Scrapbook Layout + Giveaway

Hello there, hope you are having a great week. Today I have a video showing how to make a scrapbook layout from start to finish using supplies from the Itsy Bitsy Craft Supply store and I also have a giveaway sponsored by Itsy Bitsy.
I am more of a card maker than a scrapbooker but I really enjoyed making this one. It features pictures of my daughter when we visited the Singapore Botanical Gardens a few months back.
I started off with a 12"x12" sheet of patterned paper from Glitz design and extended the flower pattern at the edges by using stamps from my Altenew Stampset "Wild Hibiscus". I then decided upon the placement of the photos on the layout and stamped some more around it. With my background ready and photo placement decided, I started adding the embellishments, I played around with different embellishments and their placement until I was satisfied with the result. In order to brighten the layout I trimmed and mounted the black layout on a sheet of bright green 12"x12" cardstock and mounted this on a 14"x14" piece of packaging cardboard and my layout is ready. All embellishments are from Itsy Bitsy, the entire list of supplies are listed out at the bottom of this post.
Check out the entire start to finish video here...
